Your home, your health, your HAVEN.

Indoor environments are increasingly designed and constructed with energy efficiency in mind, but this results in inadequate filtration and ventilation, leading to poor Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

IAQ Facts

Your home should be a safe HAVEN

Ideally, our homes are places of sanctuary and health, where we can relax, recharge, and recuperate. After all, we do spend over 70% of our lives at home.

But did you know that the quality of our indoor air is usually 2-5 times worse than outdoor air? Living in a home with poor Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) can challenge your immune and respiratory system, mental health, and productivity.

IAQ and your health

Common items in your living space like carpets and furniture produce airborne pollutants. Along with everyday activities such as cooking and cleaning, these contribute to poor Indoor Air Quality which can lead to compromised health, cognition, sleep quality, and productivity.

PM 2.5 is especially dangerous and highly hazardous to human health, due to its microscopic size (about 3% the diameter of a human hair). Since they are so small and light, they can even enter directly into the circulatory system.

The 3 Pillars of IAQ

Wireless IAQ Integrations improve indoor air quality through filtration, ventilation, and humidity control: the three pillars of IAQ
Group 25

Your filtration system helps capture airborne particles on a whole-home scale — unlike room air purifiers, which only service one room at a time.

Group 27 (2)

Proper ventilation replaces stale air with new outdoor air — removing any built up chemicals from off-gassing, and CO2 from breathing.

Group 377 (1)

Humidity control creates a comfortable and safe environment, while preventing mold growth and damage to your home's structure and furnishings.

Group 413

The foundation of your home's air quality is airflow. Without airflow, the equipment that manages these 3 pillars can't function effectively.

Utilizing the 3 Pillars of IAQ

The first step to utilizing the 3 pillars is being able to capture and interpret the data from your air.

The HAVEN Monitor measures the amount of particulate matter (PM) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air, showing you how effective the current state of your filtration and ventilation systems are. It also measures the relative humidity.

With pre-set automations that keep your daily routine in mind, the HAVEN Controller will automatically activate your systems and devices to keep your home properly filtered, ventilated, and humidified.
