About me
I began my career as a Red Seal Electrician, working in the field and learning how buildings function. That practical foundation shapes how I approach technology today: solving real problems in the built environment.
I lead HAVEN IAQ and BetterHVAC, two ventures focused on improving how people experience their indoor environments. HAVEN develops smart home IAQ products that integrate directly with HVAC systems; BetterHVAC is the non-profit side, driving education, standards, and connections in the industry.
Day to day I'm hands-on with AI and agentic coding, building systems that connect data from hardware, cloud, and web. I'm especially interested in the overlap between AI, environmental data, and products that can automate making homes healthier.
I care deeply about turning homes into safe havens. Clean air isn't a luxury; it's something every family deserves. That's why we focus on real problems for real people and give pros the tools and workflows to deliver great IAQ outcomes.
Improving an industry
I co-founded The BetterHVAC Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit driving education, standards, and connections in the HVAC industry. I serve as lead product manager and software developer, helping build the tools and community that support pros and homeowners alike.

Cycling
When I'm not thinking about indoor air, you'll often find me on two wheels. I love getting out on the bike, whether on gravel, trails, or the road, and I find it's one of the best ways to clear my head and stay grounded.
