The HAVEN Monitor has a minimum airflow speed requirement of 80fpm. That’s 0.4m/s for any Canucks or folks who prefer metric out there.
The reason for the minimum is our proprietary airflow sensor. It needs this airflow in order to provide accurate airflow velocity and particle counting measurements. If airflow is below the minimum, the home’s IAQ Score and readings will be skewed and thus, won’t be very useful for providing accurate IAQ recommendations to your customers.
During the Monitor installation, the app will ensure you’re meeting these requirements though, so don’t worry. We’ve got your back.
